At The Cognition Crew, we are four certified school psychologists who care deeply about helping children learn and thrive. With years of experience in public schools, we understand how overwhelming the evaluation process can feel for families. That’s why we focus on providing clear, thoughtful, and child-centered psychoeducational evaluations that help you better understand your child’s strengths and needs.
We keep our process transparent and supportive. While we don’t provide advocacy services or conduct Independent Educational Evaluations (IEEs), we are here to offer high-quality private assessments and practical recommendations you can use at home or share with your child’s school. Your information stays confidential, and results are only shared with others if you choose.
Our goal is simple: to give families clarity, reassurance, and meaningful insight—so you can feel confident about the path ahead for your child.
Ashley is a School Psychologist with 13 years of experience in conducting psychoeducational and social-emotional assessments for children, adolescents, and young adults. Her work focuses on helping students, families, and school teams better understand how a student learns so that appropriate supports and educational planning can be put in place.
Ashley approaches assessment through a strength-based lens, believing that all students can succeed when they are given meaningful insight into how they learn and when the right supports are in place. Her evaluations aim to highlight each student’s strengths while providing clear, practical recommendations that empower students, guide families, and support effective educational planning.
Ashley believes that accurate evaluation can be life-changing for students and families. Many students struggle in school not because they lack ability, but because the way they learn or process information has not yet been fully understood. Her goal is to help uncover each student’s unique learning profile so that students, families, and educators have the information they need to support success. Ashley approaches every evaluation from a strength-based perspective, highlighting not only areas of challenge but also the abilities, talents, and learning styles that make each student unique. When students begin to understand how their brains work and receive the supports that match their needs, they gain confidence, develop self-advocacy skills, and have the opportunity to thrive both in school and in life.
